Dude! I Almost Hit That Pole!

'Dude! I Almost Hit That Pole!'

I thought I was tucking myself away in a nice quiet, level spot.
I was tickled pink to make a discovery!
Snowboarders would suddenly pop up in front of me, with a "Whoop!," a swoosh, and sometimes a plop!
I had apparently set up just below, pretty much out of range of, a favorite jump. It was sooooooo much fun!!
I'd paint.
Suddenly, someone would pop up!
"Whoooohoooooo!!"
If they stopped to look back (to holler to their friends or to see if anyone saw them), I'd perk up, "Dude! Nice jump!" 
They'd spin around in surprise and in horror, book it!!! 
Teeeeheee. I'd get a bigger grin each time it happened.
What a glorious day in paradise!
