Eye of Eagle

This is a wild Golden eagle that was temporarily caught, then released in the Goshute Mountains.

I am always amazed at how calm these wild birds are when caught, weighed, measured and banded by HawkWatch International.

They are an elegant example of our  'environmental barometers.'
